Hey, I’m Jennifer — Leo sun, chaos curator, mom of four, and the kind of woman who will cry over a song lyric, then throw a themed party three hours later.

 

Hot Mess Big Heart was born out of late-night spirals, voice memos I never sent, and that constant tug-of-war between wanting to be calm and peaceful… and wanting to throat-punch someone for not putting the dishes in the dishwasher right. (It’s called balance.)

 

I didn’t start this blog because I had life figured out — I started it because I didn’t. I’m still learning how to set boundaries 🙃, how to cook meals my kids will actually eat, how to be gentle with myself, and how to believe I’m worthy — even on the days I feel like a walking disaster in sweats and mascara tears.

This space is for:

 

  • The moms who are tired but still showing up

  • The women who feel too much but keep loving anyway

  • The ones who grew up too fast and are learning how to slow down

  • Anyone who needs a reminder that messiness and magic can exist at the same time

 

Here, you’ll find blog posts about motherhood, healing, mental health, nostalgia, food, heartbreak, moon phases, manifesting, and occasionally yelling “WHY IS EVERYTHING STICKY?” in your own kitchen.

 

I believe in crying when you need to, laughing until you snort, and romanticizing your life even when you’re folding underwear.
